** ENDORSEMENT ALERT **
I’m excited to share some great news: State Representative Debra Bazemore and Friends of Creel Park have both officially endorsed my re-election campaign.
I’m truly honored by their support, and I want to explain what it means and why it matters for our community.
Why These Endorsements Matter
State Rep. Debra Bazemore
Rep. Bazemore has served our area with dedication and has a strong record on issues that impact our daily lives. She serves on multiple important legislative committees: Governmental Affairs; Human Relations & Aging; Natural Resources & Environment; Small Business Development; among others. Her community work is also strong: she has been active in local organizations like Concerned Parents (which she founded), Old National Area Residents United (formerly president), and South Fulton United (including as chair/vice chair). Having her endorsement is especially meaningful because she knows what it takes to get things done under the Gold Dome. Her backing signals trust that I share her values and commitment to delivering for our constituents.
Friends of Creel Park
Friends of Creel Park is a group many of us know well — neighbors, stewards, and advocates who care deeply about our park’s future: safety, accessibility, maintenance, and programming. Their endorsement reflects their belief in my plans for parks and community spaces, and reinforces that our campaign aligns with preserving and improving places that bring us together.
What This Means for Our Campaign & for You
It strengthens our coalition of supporters who want to see real results in our neighborhood: better parks, safer streets, more community events, responsive constituent services.
It gives added momentum. When people who already have earned trust in our community—and who share our priorities—put their credibility behind you, it amplifies the message.
It ensures accountability. With this support, I’m even more committed to delivering on the promises I’ve made: improving Creel Park, ensuring funding for local infrastructure, and making sure our voices are heard at every level of government.
Promise to You Moving Forward
In light of these endorsements, here is what I pledge:
Collaborative Partnerships — working hand in hand with local and state leadership to secure resources for improvements in District 6.
Open Communication — continuing to listen. When Friends of Creel Park or folks like Rep. Bazemore bring up issues, I’ll work to collaborate and respond.
Transparency & Accountability — keeping you updated on how, when, and where public funds are used; delivering tangible results, not just promises.
I’m grateful for the trust that Rep. Bazemore, Friends of Creel Park, and all of you are placing in me. With your support, I’m optimistic we can build on the progress we’ve made and keep pushing for a community we’re proud of.
Thank you for standing with me — together, we’ll keep moving forward.
